Frank Monacella

Frank’s career nearly took a very different turn as he looked to become a builder out of secondary school. Luckily for our profession, apprenticeships were scarce and so he decided to enter a Bachelor of Business instead, majoring in accounting and economics with a minor in law.

Frank’s experience in both private and public practice has meant that he can provide clients with a range of business services. This diversity and experience allows him to connect with the specific needs of clients.  Having the pleasure of working with some clients across two or more generations brings Frank great joy.

After working in public practice for 12 years, Frank ventured into the recycling/waste management industry as a financial controller. This role ultimately led to running a business unit until the business was sold to a public company. After eight years, it was time for Frank to get back into public practice. He reached out to the Patison team, confident that his vast experience could add some real value to the team. It’s been 12 years, and Frank hasn’t looked back.

When Frank isn’t at his desk, you’ll likely find him running. Competing in 15 half marathons to date is one of his proudest achievements – second to his two children. Frank didn’t forget his building aspirations either, undertaking any DIY project he can get his hands on during the weekend.
