We are looking for a Senior Accountant who wants to do more than just prepare financial statements and tax returns.  We are looking for someone who goes beyond the numbers.

About the role:

The primary focus of this role is to help directors manage workflow and provide advisory services such as asset protection and tax planning strategies including preparation of financial statements.

You will work directly with multiple Directors across both our offices, in a collaborative and supportive environment and will have access to a range of clients.

You will also be involved in team training, delegating and mentoring, whilst developing your own supervisory skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients
• Preparation of comprehensive financial statements
• Preparation of income tax returns and advice

About you:

You are a qualified CA/CPA ‘business-minded’ hands-on accountant who can identify client opportunities easily.

You have multiple years of experience working within the public practice space, are comfortable using multiple client software packages, love Excel, have a genuine passion for small businesses and have a good personality.

You absolutely love Xero and everything about Xero and have a very good working knowledge of Xero Report Codes, Chart of Accounts and Financial Statement Report Templates.
